  Awesome food! Our food was hot, very tasty, and service was quick. Staff were very social & pleasant to work with. Have to admit that I'm in love with their Fried Catfish & Okra... but other sides were excellent as well. Real food, not poured out of a box or can.
  
  Surroundings were warm and cozy; private booths but table areas for larger groups and families. Lots of areas outside for gathering when the weather is nice.
  
  Treat yourself to some place outside of the corporate fast food stamp; enjoy real food at very reasonable prices.
  
  Looking forward to when they make the next step up and carry grass-fed beef on the menu.

  Not sure why some are down on this place. Maybe they miss their overpriced Cali. bistros ? We stop here when we are enjoying the hill country or heading to Fredericksburg. Never had a bad meal. Yesterday we stopped in, I had the catfish & shrimp w/ beans & hush puppies. They were GREAT ! Breaded just right. Wife had the Ruben sandwich w/ tater totes--Wonderful ! Our son had the chicken strips w/ chips, no complaints : ) Staff was friendly and attentive.
